While Campolindo's win against Mt. Diablo wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Cougars won by a run and slipped past the Red Devils 14-13. The Cougars haven't had any issues with the Red Devils recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.
Paige Williams and Quinn Hickey did most of the damage at the plate: Williams went a perfect 4-for-4 with three runs, two doubles, and one triple, while Hickey got on base in all five of her plate appearances with two stolen bases, one triple, and two RBI. That's the most runs Williams has posted since back in March. Zoe Calhoun also deserves some recognition as she got her first hit of the season.
Campolindo was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .471. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Mt. Diablo only posted a batting average of .269.
