 McGehee fell victim to Riverside Academy and their airtight pitching crew  on Monday. They wound up on the wrong side of a  rough 15-0 walloping at the hands of the Riverside Academy Rebels. McGehee's loss continues an unfortunate trend for the  team, making it three in a row.
 For Riverside Academy's part,  Amber Palermo looked comfortable as she  struck out nine batters over  three innings while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits (and only one walk).
 On the hitting side,  the team  relied heavily on  Olivia St Pierre, who  went 2-for-2 with two  stolen bases, two  runs,  and a  triple. The team also got some help courtesy of  Corrin Cashio, who  scored two  runs while going 1-for-1.
 McGehee's defeat dropped their record down to 8-4. As for Riverside Academy, they have  been performing  well recently as they've  won four of their last five matches,  which provided a nice bump to their 13-7 record  this season.
 McGehee will head out on the road to  square off against  West St. John at 4:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. West St. John is coming into the  contest with five straight  victories at home,  so McGehee will have to stop a  squad with plenty of momentum. Riverside Academy will take on Crescent City Christian at 4:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. Riverside Academy is strutting in with some hitting muscle, as they've averaged 9.2  runs per game this season.
