Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Blanchard couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They were just a hair shy of victory on Friday and fell 21-20 to the Clinton Red Tornadoes. That makes it the first time this season the Lions have let down their home crowd.
Loss or not, Blanchard got some senior leadership from Hudsen Periman and Coric Pierce. Periman threw for 208 yards and two touchdowns, while Pierce picked up 101 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
