Basketball Recap: Poplar Bluff Takes a Loss

Poplar Bluff lost against Joplin back in January of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Poplar Bluff Mules fell to the Joplin Eagles 57-52.

Poplar Bluff's defeat dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Joplin, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 4-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Poplar Bluff will venture away from home to square off against West Plains at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Joplin, they will head out on the road to take on Central at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
