Softball Recap: Alabama Christian Academy Gets the Win

Alabama Christian Academy's game last Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. They came out on top against the Trinity Presbyterian Wildcats by a score of 5-2. This was a revenge game for the Eagles: when they faced off against the Wildcats on April 8th, they had to take a 8-7 defeat.

Izzy Warrick was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run while striking out eight over seven innings pitched. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't given up more than two walks in 11 consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with two runs and one double.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Lily Sconyers, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one RBI.
