Recap: Rayville Hornets vs. Ferriday Trojans
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Mangham, The Rayville Hornets were happy to have found some success on Friday. They took down Ferriday 52-34. The high flying offensive effort was a huge turnaround for Rayville's six-point performance the game before.
When it comes to explaining why Ferriday lost, one person who can't be blamed is Chris Reed jr. Despite the final result, he picked up 85 receiving yards and two touchdowns, and also rushed for 128 yards and a touchdown on only ten carries. Reed jr was no stranger to the big play, taking off on a dash that went for 65 yards. Taevion Edwards also helped out as he racked up 134 rushing yards.
Rayville is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a massive bump to their 5-5 record this season. As for Ferriday, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-6.
Rayville is on the road again on Friday and play against Loreauville at 7:00 p.m. on November 10th. As for Ferriday, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Jonesboro-Hodge at 7:00 p.m.
