Soccer Recap: Kaufman Comes Up Short

Kaufman was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss. They fell 4-2 to the Red Oak Hawks. While losing is never fun, the Lions can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 795th, while the Hawks are ranked 365th).

Kaufman's defeat dropped their record down to 0-11. As for Red Oak, their win bumped their record up to 8-3.

Coming up, a feisty cat fight will be fought as the Kaufman duke it out with the Corsicana at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Corsicana is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 2.8 goals per game this season. As for Red Oak, they are taking a road trip to square off against Midlothian Heritage at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
