Saturday just wasn't the day for Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley's offense. They fell just short of the Tri-Valley Vikings by a score of 2-0 on Saturday. Having soared to a lofty 15 runs in the game before, the Falcons' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley's defeat dropped their record down to 14-11. As for Tri-Valley, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-8-1 record this season.

As of now, neither Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley nor Tri-Valley have any future games scheduled.
