Softball Recap: Highland Rams vs. Kearns Cougars
Sadly, Highland is still looking for their first win of the season after seven contests. Their rough 19-2 defeat to the Kearns Cougars on Wednesday might stick with them for a while. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Highland of the 17-2 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2022.

On Kearns' side, Kallie Stocking made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out six batters over two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (and only one walk). Stocking has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive pitching appearances.
