Basketball Recap: Danville Skates Past North Montgomery with Ease

Danville won the last time they faced North Montgomery and things went their way on Friday too. The Danville Warriors breezed by the North Montgomery Chargin' Chargers to the tune of 63-27. The Warriors have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 12 contests by 26 points or more this season.

Danville's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Addison Davis, who went 6 for 9 on her way to 16 points and five rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Jillian Conrad, who went 5 of 7 en route to 12 points and six boards.

Danville was working as a unit and finished the game with 19 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as North Montgomery only racked up four assists.

When it comes to explaining why North Montgomery lost, don't look at Piper Ramey. Despite the final result, she dropped a double-double on 13 points and 11 rebounds.

Danville is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 12 games, which provided a nice bump to their 16-4 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.6 points per game. As for North Montgomery, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 13-7 record this season.
