Volleyball Recap: Routt Catholic Comes Up Short

Routt Catholic lost against Jacksonville back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Rockets fell 2-0 to the Crimsons.

The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-9.

Meaghan Marshall paced Routt Catholic's offense, picking up six kills. Marshall got some help from Madi Maro and her four assists.

Among those leading the charge was Emalee Pool, who had 16 digs and one assist.

Routt Catholic's defeat dropped their record down to 9-13. As for Jacksonville, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-11.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matches. Routt Catholic will face off against North Greene at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Rockets are facing the Spartans at the right time seeing as the Spartans are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Jacksonville, they are taking a road trip to challenge Springfield Southeast at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
