After only two runs in their last contest, Rowan County made sure to put some runs up on the board against Raceland on Saturday. The Vikings walked away with an 11-8 win over the Rams. The victory was familiar territory for the Vikings, who have now won six games in a row.

The team relied heavily on Ryleigh Howard, who went 3-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one stolen base. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in April. Kelbie Ford was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two runs and two RBI.

Rowan County's record now sits at 23-9. As for Raceland, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 19-12.

Coincidentally, Rowan County and Raceland will both be playing Madison Central the next time they take the field. The Rams will head out to face the Indians at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, while the Vikings will play them later in the day, at 4:00 p.m.
