Softball Recap: Agricultural Science Cyclones vs. Horizon Science Academy McKinley Park Hawks
After flying high against Goode STEM Academy last Monday, Agricultural Science came back down to earth. The Agricultural Science Cyclones wound up on the wrong side of a rough 18-10 walloping at the hands of the Horizon Science Academy McKinley Park Hawks on Tuesday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Agricultural Science of the 30-25 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2023.
For Horizon Science Academy McKinley Park's part, Martha Romero was incredible, going 2-for-4 with three stolen bases, four RBI, and two runs. Cassandra Medrano was another key contributor, scoring three runs while getting on base in three of her five plate appearances.
