Baseball Recap: Ludington Comes Up Short

Ludington dropped their record down to 5-13 on Wednesday, which also ended the team's three-game streak of wins on the road. They came up short against the Western Michigan Christian Warriors, falling 9-1. Having soared to a lofty 13 runs in the game before, the Orioles couldn't push the score so high this time.

As for Western Michigan Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.4 runs over those games.
