Notre Dame Academy has gone 8-2 against St. Henry recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Saturday. The Pandas will square off against the Crusaders at 7:30 p.m. Notre Dame Academy will be strutting in after a win while St. Henry will be coming in after a loss.

Notre Dame Academy is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another highly-ranked state team: Ursuline Academy, who was ranked eighth in their home state at the time (Notre Dame Academy was ranked second). The Pandas skirted past the Lions 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Pandas have posted since August 30th.

Notre Dame Academy got the W, but it wasn't easy, at least in the first set. The final score came out to 28-30, 18-25, 25-16, 25-13, 15-11.

Meanwhile, St. Henry was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of Beechwood. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last five times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

St. Henry's loss dropped their record down to 19-13. As for Notre Dame Academy, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 22-6.

Notre Dame Academy took their victory against St. Henry when the teams last played back in October of 2024 by a conclusive 3-0 score. Will the Pandas repeat their success, or do the Crusaders have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
