Softball Recap: Westwood Takes a Loss

Westwood lost against Cibola back in March of 2016, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Warriors came up short against the Raiders, falling 12-3. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Westwood saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Analisa Garcia, who went 1-for-3 with one run.

Westwood now has a losing record of 11-12-1. As for Cibola, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a massive bump to their 10-13 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Westwood will head out to challenge Mesa at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Cibola, they will venture away from home to square off against Kofa at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
