Basketball Game Preview: Trinity Christian Crusaders vs. Piedmont Academy Cougars

The Trinity Christian Crusaders and the Piedmont Academy Cougars will face off at 11:30 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played. Trinity Christian will come in still looking for their first win of the season.

Trinity Christian saw some tournament action on Friday. They lost to Loganville Christian Academy on the road by a 64-49 margin.

Meanwhile, Piedmont Academy took a blow against First Preparatory Christian Academy on Friday, falling 94-35. While losing is never fun, the Cougars can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 441st, while the Highlanders are ranked 200th).

Trinity Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 0-11. As for Piedmont Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-6.

Trinity Christian was able to grind out a solid victory over Piedmont Academy in their previous meeting back in January of 2023, winning 65-52. Will Trinity Christian repeat their success, or does Piedmont Academy have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
