There's no place like home for Shoals, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Bloomfield Cardinals on Wednesday as they made off with an 8-3 win. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 5-1.

Shoals' offense was hitting Bloomfield from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Kyle Wininger led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for four goals all by himself.

Shoals' victory ended a five-match drought at home and bumped them up to 4-10. As for Bloomfield, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 1-11-1 record this season.

Shoals and Bloomfield are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. The Jug Rox will challenge Lighthouse Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Bloomfield, they will square off against White River Valley at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
