Larimore unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They were dealt a 67-29 loss at the hands of the Benson County [Leeds/Maddock] Wildcats on Thursday. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it five in a row.

The victory (which was Benson County [Leeds/Maddock]'s sixth in a row dating back to last season) raised their record to 2-0.

Larimore didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 54-53 win against Devils Lake on the 5th. As for Benson County [Leeds/Maddock], they have also already played their next contest, a 64-38 victory against Griggs County Central/Midkota on the 5th.
