Madison Academy came out on top against Elkmont on Monday thanks in part to the team's impressive ten-run seventh inning. The Mustangs were the clear victors by a 15-1 margin over the Red Devils. The result was nothing new for the Mustangs, who have now won 20 matches by six runs or more so far this season.
Cataryna Schreiber was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She didn't allow a single earned run while striking out 13 over seven innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in 14 consecutive appearances. Madison Academy kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 17 hits. That's the most hits they've managed all season.
