            Football Recap: Meridian HomeSchool FLYERS vs. Magnolia Wildcats        
        
		
        
        
            Meridian HomeSchool won the last time they faced Magnolia, and  Shelton Pace did his part to make sure it happened again. The FLYERS had just enough and edged out the Wildcats  50-48 with plenty of help from  Pace, who rushed for 193 yards and five  touchdowns on only 15 carries, and also picked up 71 receiving yards. He really tore up the turf  during one magnificent 71-yard run.
  Noah Todd was another key player, rushing for 25 yards and one  score. He also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, forcing one fumble and making six total tackles (1.0 for loss).
Meridian HomeSchool's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Magnolia, their loss was  their third straight on the road, which  dropped their record down to 0-5.
 Meridian HomeSchool and Magnolia will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next  games. The next time the FLYERS see the field they'll take on Pine Belt  at 7:00  p.m.  on  the 20th. As for Magnolia, their break will end when they face Varsity Opponent  at 4:00  p.m.  on  the 27th.
