Football Recap: Central Comes Up Short + How To Watch

The home team had won the previous five meetings between Central and Dallas, and Dallas kept the tradition alive. The Panthers had to suffer through a 49-13 loss at the hands of the Dragons. The game marked the Panthers' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Despite the defeat, Central had strong showings from JT Girod, who rushed for 31 yards and one touchdown, and Ryan Perkins, who picked up 33 receiving yards and one score.

Even if they lost, Central's defensive line still kept up the pressure with three sacks. Mason Vela was particularly dangerous to the passing game, picking up two himself.

Central now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Dallas, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.

Meanwhile, Dallas will face off against rival West Albany at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Dragons 5.4, the Bulldogs 12.4) so any points scored will be well earned.
