Basketball Recap: Greenville Takes Down Litchfield in a Playoff Battle

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Greenville had no problem doing just that on Wednesday. They came out on top against the Litchfield Purple Panthers by a score of 43-34. This was a revenge game for the Comets: when they faced off against the Purple Panthers back in January, they had to take a 57-55 loss.

Greenville's win was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 20-11. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.7 points over those games. As for Litchfield, with the defeat, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 15-18.
