Basketball Recap: Oakland Comes Up Short

Oakland was the 40-38 winner over East Nashville Magnet when they last played one another back in December of 2016, but their luck changed this time around. The Oakland Patriots lost to the East Nashville Magnet Eagles on the road by a 50-33 margin on Saturday. The contest marked the Patriots' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Oakland's loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for East Nashville Magnet, the win keeps them at an undefeated 12-0.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Oakland will wrap up 2024 with a road trip to face off against Page at 8:30 p.m. on Monday. As for East Nashville Magnet, they will challenge Beech at 10:00 a.m. on Friday.
