Softball Recap: Greenfield Bruins vs. Pajaro Valley Grizzlies
Greenfield and Pajaro Valley faced off in a Battle of the Bears on Wednesday. The Bruins put the hurt on the Grizzlies with a sharp 23-2 victory. The Bruins haven't had any issues with the Grizzlies recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive win against them.
Chloe Zavala made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She struck out eight batters over four innings while giving up just two earned runs off four hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than eight strikeouts any time she's pitched this season. She was also big at the plate, going 3-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one stolen base.
