Jackson had lost three games straight , but after bumping their record up to 10-12 on Thursday that streak is in the rearview. They walked away with a 9-6 win over the Poplar Bluff Mules. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Fighting Indians also won the last time the pair played back in May of 2024.

As for Poplar Bluff, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-10 record this season. They have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

For Poplar Bluff's part, Bryce Dobbs made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one double. That stolen base was Dobbs' first of the season. Marcus Tabanera was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Jackson will welcome Fox at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
