Basketball Game Preview: Pace Academy Knights vs. Union Grove Wolverines

The Pace Academy Knights will face off against the Union Grove Wolverines at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Pace Academy comes in on nine and Union Grove on three.

Pace Academy is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They claimed a resounding 80-50 victory over Kell. The Knights have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 12 matchups by 22 points or more this season.

Pace Academy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Bentley Lusakueno, who dropped a double-double with 11 points and 12 rebounds. Those 12 boards gave Lusakueno a new career-high. Hayden Clay was another key player, to rack up 13 points in addition to eight rebounds and five blocks.

Meanwhile, Union Grove didn't have too much trouble with St. Pius X Catholic on Saturday as they won 78-59.

Pace Academy pushed their record up to 25-4 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. As for Union Grove, their victory bumped their record up to 19-10.
