Volleyball Recap: Summit Comes Up Short

Summit lost against Elizabeth back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Hilltoppers fell 2-0 to the Minutemen. The Hilltoppers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-12.

Claire Jesionowski paced Summit's offense, picking up six kills. Jesionowski got some help from Nadia Moghal and her 11 assists.

Summit's loss dropped their record down to 4-14. As for Elizabeth, they pushed their record up to 4-2 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Summit will face off against Chatham at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Elizabeth, they will challenge Linden at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
