Eagle Mountain took an eight-goal defeat the last time they faced off against Lake Dallas, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Knights won by a goal and slipped past the Falcons 2-1. The victory was familiar territory for Eagle Mountain, who have now won three matchups in a row.

Eagle Mountain's win bumped their record up to 7-1-2. As for Lake Dallas, their loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 0-1-2 and their overall record down to 1-6-4.
