Basketball Recap: Oscar Korson Key Part of a Team Effort in Bears Win

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Hartford, Brattleboro was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They took down the Burr & Burton Bulldogs 59-42. The Bears pushed the score to 51-25 by the end of the third, a deficit the Bulldogs cut but never quite recovered from.

Brattleboro's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Oscar Korson, who posted 19 points. The dominant performance also gave Korson a new career-high in blocks (two). Another player making a difference was Jack Cady, who earned nine points in addition to seven rebounds and five steals.

Brattleboro's win bumped their record up to 5-10. As for Burr & Burton, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-6.

Brattleboro has already played their next contest (against Bellows Falls), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Burr & Burton has also has no score uploaded for their next matchup, this one against Rutland.
