Softball Preview: Weiser Wolverines vs. Homedale Trojans
For the second straight game, Weiser will face off against Homedale. The Wolverines will host the Trojans at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The timing is sure in Weiser's favor as the team sits on nine straight wins at home (dating back to last season) while Homedale has been banged up by five consecutive losses on the road also dating back to last season.
Weiser made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Homedale, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Wolverines blew past the Trojans 14-3 on Monday. Considering the Wolverines have won 11 matchups by more than six runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Madi Janicek was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She struck out 14 batters over five innings while giving up three earned runs off three hits. Those 14 strikeouts gave her a new career-high. She was also big at the plate, going 3-for-4 with one double and one RBI.
In other batting news, Weiser got a massive performance out of Ellie Shirts, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 2-for-3.
