Football Recap: Alexander/Pembroke Victorious

The Alexander/Pembroke Defenders were able to grind out a solid win over the Le Roy/Caledonia-Mumford Rivals on Friday, taking the game 40-27.

When it comes to explaining why Le Roy/Caledonia-Mumford lost, don't look at Donovan Gaillard. Despite the final result, he picked up 65 receiving yards and one touchdown, and also rushed for 43 yards and one TD.

Alexander/Pembroke's victory bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Le Roy/Caledonia-Mumford, their defeat ended a six-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 3-2.
