Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Jalyn Ramsey and Delaney Howery Lead Ripley to Victory

Ripley barely beat Ravenswood the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Vikings blew past the Red Devils 3-0 on Wednesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Vikings have posted against the Red Devils since October 25, 2021.

One reason for the win was Ripley's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-15, 25-13.

Ripley was led to victory by Delaney Howery and Jalyn Ramsey. Howery had 13 digs and two aces, while Ramsey had nine digs and one assist. That's the most digs Howery has posted over her last nine contests.

Ripley is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 24-11 record this season. As for Ravenswood, their loss dropped their record down to 31-12.
