After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Hayden, Coolidge was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They skirted past the Bourgade Catholic Golden Eagles 9-7. This was payback for Coolidge, who suffered a 6-3 loss the last time these two teams met.
Tim Yrigoyen was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out nine batters over six innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off four hits.
