Soccer Preview: Wadsworth vs. Stow-Munroe Falls
On Tuesday Wadsworth will have to hit the road after four straight games at home. They will square off against the Stow-Munroe Falls Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. Wadsworth will be strutting in after a victory while Stow-Munroe Falls will be coming in after a defeat.
Wadsworth is headed in fresh off scoring the most goals they have all season. They blew past North 5-0 on Saturday. The Grizzlies' defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last three contests.
They hit North with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from
Justin Lazzaretti (3),
Evan Johnston, and
Gavin Gambaccini.
Meanwhile, Stow-Munroe Falls came up short against Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy on Saturday and fell 3-1.
Wadsworth is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season. As for Stow-Munroe Falls, their loss dropped their record down to 4-3-3.
