Basketball Recap: Brown Bears vs. Hancock County Hornets
Brown was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 13th straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 58-49 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hancock County Hornets. The Bears were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Hornets apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in December of 2023.
Brown's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Hancock County, their win ended a three-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-0.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Brown will face off against St. Xavier at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Hancock County, they will host John Hardin at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
