            For the second straight game, St. Mary will face off against St. Anthony. The Gaels will square off against the Friars at 4:30  p.m.  on Wednesday. St. Mary's comes in still looking for their first win of the season.
Tuesday just wasn't the day for St. Mary's offense. They came up short against  St. Anthony's on Tuesday, falling  23-0.
For St. Anthony's part,  Luke Coats tossed a big game,   not allowing a single  earned run and  allowing only two  hits while striking out six over five innings pitched.
 On the hitting side, St. Anthony's got a  massive  performance out of  Alex Bono, who  got on base  in four of his five plate appearances with one  home run, four  runs,  and five  RBI. Those  five  RBI gave  Bono a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of  Michael Carr, who  went 3-for-4 with one  home run, four  RBI,  and two  runs.
 St. Anthony's  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .674. That's the best  OBP they've posted all season.
 The  win made it two in a row for St. Anthony's and  bumps their season record up to 7-2. Those  victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 14.0 runs over those games. As for St. Mary's, their loss dropped their record down to 0-7.
