Basketball Recap: Gardner-Edgerton Takes a Loss

Gardner-Edgerton came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They were dealt a 75-43 loss at the hands of the Shawnee Mission Northwest Cougars. The Trailblazers have struggled against the Cougars recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Gardner-Edgerton's defeat dropped their record down to 6-9. As for Shawnee Mission Northwest, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 12-3.

Coming up, Gardner-Edgerton will head out on the road to take on Olathe West at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Shawnee Mission Northwest, they will welcome Shawnee Mission West at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
