Football Recap: Florence Takes a Loss

Florence was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 14th straight defeat dating back to last season. They were beaten by the Randolph Ro-Hawks 55-8. On the bright side, the eight- point performance marked the Buffaloes' highest-scoring contest to date.

Despite the loss, Florence still got an impressive performance from Mariano Palacios, who rushed for 286 yards and one score while picking up 14.3 yards per carry. With that strong performance, Palacios is now averaging an impressive 103.9 rushing yards per game.

Florence's record now sits at 0-9. As for Randolph, their victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 3-6.
