            Softball Recap: East Forest/West Forest Fires vs. Redbank Valley Bulldogs        
        
		
        
        
            East Forest/West Forest had lost three straight at home, but  on Wednesday they dropped their record down to 0-5 to make it four. They came up short against  the Redbank Valley Bulldogs, falling  11-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup  13-2  back in April.
As for Redbank Valley, their win bumped their record up to 9-6. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for their hitters, who had struggled in the games prior.
For Redbank Valley's part, East Forest/West Forest's batters probably weren't too happy with  Mackenzie Foringer, who pitched a no hitter  and racked up ten Ks (she gave up zero walks). Foringer has been consistent for a while: she hasn't  given up  more than two  walks any time she's  pitched this season.
 On the hitting side, Redbank Valley let  Alara Altobelli and  Quinn White run wild. Altobelli  went a perfect 3-for-3 with three  runs, one  double,  and one  RBI, while  White  went 2-for-3 with one  home run and two  RBI. That's the most  hits  Altobelli has posted since back in May of 2024. Another player making a difference was  Summer Bish, who  went 1-for-3 with three  RBI and one  run.
 Coming up, East Forest/West Forest will face off against Brockway at 4:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. As for Redbank Valley, they will host Johnsonburg  at 4:30  p.m.  on Friday. The Bulldogs' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Rams have averaged an impressive 6.4  runs per game this season.
