Seton Catholic had to endure a five-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They blew past the Anderson Prep Academy Jets 3-0 on Saturday. The Cardinals have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Jets, too.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Seton Catholic took every set by at least 11 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-8, 25-4, 25-14.

Jolie Scherschel paced Seton Catholic's offense, picking up nine kills. Scherschel got some help from Taryn Tremain and her 11 assists. Brylee Roosa controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

Seton Catholic now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Anderson Prep Academy, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Coincidentally, Seton Catholic and Anderson Prep Academy will both be playing University the next time they take the court. The Jets will head out to face the Trailblazers at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Cardinals will play them later in the day, at 1:00 p.m.
