Lehman owes their pitching crew a big pat on the back after their performance on Friday. They put the hurt on the Pflugerville Panthers with a sharp 8-0 victory. The Lobos have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Panthers, too.

Andrew Cruz was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run while striking out eight over five innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going a perfect 4-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and two doubles.

In other batting news, Franky Delgadillo was excellent, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-3.

Lehman's win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-6. As for Pflugerville, they now have a losing record of 4-5-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lehman will take on Lockhart at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Lockhart will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Lehman surely won't give up without a fight. As for Pflugerville, they are taking a road trip to face off against Bastrop at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
