 North Oldham came tearing into  Friday's  contest with three straight wins  (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7 runs) and they left with even more momentum. They skirted past the Simon Kenton Pioneers  7-5. This was payback for North Oldham, who suffered  a  3-2  defeat the last time these two teams met.
  Kadie Bosemer spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned  (and two unearned) runs on eight hits.
 At the plate,  Brooke Bennett was  incredible,  going 2-for-4 with a  home run, two  runs,  and two  RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of  Nadia Leber, who  scored two  runs while going 3-for-4.
 North Oldham is  on a roll lately: they've  won four of their last five games,  which provided a nice bump to their 8-6 record  this season. As for Simon Kenton, their loss dropped their record down to 5-7.
 North Oldham will head out on the road to  face off against  Oldham County at 6:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. As for Simon Kenton, they will be playing at home against Harrison County at 6:00  p.m.  on Tuesday.
