Baseball Recap: Parkrose Broncos vs. La Salle Falcons
Parkrose extended their losing streak to four on Tuesday, dropping their season record down to 6-7 in the process. They came up short against the La Salle Falcons, falling 14-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Falcons this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 14-0 last Thursday.
As for La Salle, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-4. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.2 runs on average over those games.
For La Salle's part, Ethan Kissee looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out six over four innings pitched.
At the plate, La Salle let Torsten Hersom and Kiernan Kelly run wild. Hersom got on base in three of his four plate appearances with three RBI, two runs, and one triple, while Kelly got on base in all four of his plate appearances with three RBI and two runs.
