Memorial Christian Academy suffers eighth straight loss on the road

Recap: Memorial Christian Academy Warriors vs. Sterling Classical Soldiers

The Memorial Christian Academy Warriors's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their eighth straight loss. Their tough 52-28 defeat to Sterling Classical might stick with them for a while. Memorial Christian Academy was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Sterling Classical apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January of 2023.

Sterling Classical got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Sunny Croston out in front who scored 11 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Croston has scored all season. Ely McClung was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with seven rebounds.

Memorial Christian Academy's loss was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 1-10. As for Sterling Classical, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Memorial Christian Academy will take on Waco Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Sterling Classical, they will play host again and welcome St. Mary's, where tip off is scheduled for TBD on Friday.
