Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Las Lomas). Everything went their way against the Mt. Diablo Red Devils on Tuesday as they made off with a 25-2 win. The victory continues a trend for the Knights in their matchups with the Red Devils: they've now won three in a row.

Tyler Van Deusen looked comfortable as he tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two hits in three consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Cubby Hairston and Jack Foscalina did most of the damage at the plate: Hairston went a perfect 2-for-2 with three runs, one stolen base, and two RBI, while Foscalina went a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI. Those three runs gave Foscalina a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Izaiah Metzger, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two RBI, one run, and one double.

Las Lomas always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .659. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Las Lomas now has a winning record of 9-8-1. As for Mt. Diablo, they dropped their record down to 3-14 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Las Lomas will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Red Devils: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
