Anderson is headed into the matchup having just posted their closest victory since April 21st on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged out Highlands 4-3.

The team relied heavily on Eric Fleetwood, who went 1-for-2 with one home run and three RBI. Anderson is 6-2 when Fleetwood posts three or more RBI, but 6-7 otherwise.
Anderson hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. They are a perfect 5-0 when they post two or more strikeouts.
Milford hit West Clermont with a five-run third inning on Monday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Wolves came up short against the Eagles, falling 11-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Wolves have suffered since April 29th.
West Clermont saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Gavin Speranza, who went 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI.
Anderson is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-9 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 4.0 runs on average over those games. As for West Clermont, they now have a losing record of 10-11.
West Clermont's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Anderson hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .326. It's a different story for West Clermont, though, as they've only averaged .252. Will they be able to contain Anderson's hitters?
