Softball Recap: Thomson Bulldogs vs. Glenn Hills Spartans
Thomson got themselves on the board against Glenn Hills on Tuesday, but Glenn Hills never followed suit. They put the hurt on the Glenn Hills Spartans with a sharp 17-0 victory. The result was nothing new for the Bulldogs, who have now won six matchups by eight runs or more so far this season.
Chloe Smith made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out seven batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and only one walk). She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than one walk in three consecutive pitching appearances. She was also big at the plate, scoring three runs and stealing a base while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances.
