Volleyball Recap: Kayla Kenis and Ciarrah Doliente Secure Win for Grossmont

While Grossmont's win against West Hills wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Foothillers won by a set and slipped past the Wolf Pack 3-2. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Foothillers.

Grossmont was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. The final score came out to 21-25, 25-22, 20-25, 25-12, 15-8.

Grossmont was led to victory by Ciarrah Doliente and Kayla Kenis. Doliente had 16 digs and three assists, while Kenis had four digs and four aces. That's the most assists Doliente has posted since back in September.

They weren't the only good servers: Grossmont was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 16 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least eight aces in 13 consecutive contests.

Grossmont's victory bumped their record up to 21-10. As for West Hills, the defeat snapped their winning streak at three matches and leaves them with a 9-23 record.

As of now, neither Grossmont nor the Wolf Pack have any future games scheduled.
