Volleyball Recap: South Ripley Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

South Ripley waltzed into their match on Saturday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the New Washington Mustangs. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 back in August.

South Ripley easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The final score came out to 25-13, 25-17.

Kaiya Rinear paced South Ripley's offense, picking up 13 kills. Rinear got some help from Avery Andrews and her 25 assists.

South Ripley's win bumped their record up to 17-12. As for New Washington, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-20.

South Ripley has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Clarksville on the 11th. As for New Washington, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Switzerland County on the 11th.
